Hello - γειά σου

What's up? It's my junior year of college and I am lucky enough to go abroad to, yup you guessed it, Greece. This blog is mainly for friends and family because we all know you love to creep. Anyways, keep in touch, creep all you want, and enjoy!

The Collaboration

So Kailtyn and I have made a list of random things about Greece that is different from what we experience at home:
  • no microwaves
  • no toasters
  • no dryers
  • my apt is the only one with air conditioning ( thank God because Greece is having its hottest September and you know i sweat like a mofo)
  • Greeks double park like crazy....apparently there are no parking laws
  • they put 3 people on Vespa
  • men are not afraid to get close to each other or wear fanny packs
  • they don't always have chicken in the grocery stores
  • everything is closed on Sundays
  • sometimes shops don't reopen after siesta which is 2:30pm-5:30 everyday
  • Greece is the ONLY country in Europe without an Apple store
  • it's really expensive to fly out of or into Greece
  • children are out at all hours of the night a lot of time without supervision
  • shit tons of stray dogs and cats
  • stray dogs will follow you....4 dogs followed me and Kaitlyn yesterday for 10 minutes
  • your feet are always dirty
  • store owners clean the sidewalks....but they're still dirty
  • no form of baking soda, baking powder, or vanilla for baking (this makes me very sad)
That's all I have to say for today <3
